The application software of the automation master station system for the power distribution network is designed mainly on some of the following principles: safety; and advancement. The system support and application software should follow the industrial application trend and meet the development demand of application functions in the power distribution network. The public service layer refers to various kinds of tool providing display, management, and other services to the application software. The public services focus on the general tools, whereas the application software focuses on the business solutions. The analysis application function for the power distribution network is the advanced application software for scientific management purposes, having particular importance for such smart applications as self-healing control, network optimization, and distributed power source access for the power distribution network. Therefore, the analysis application function should be gradually configured and completed in line with actual local demands and conditions during automation construction for the power distribution network.
