Cloud Point Microextraction of Sudan IV from Food and Cosmetics with Determination by Spectrophotometry
A cloud point extraction (CPE) procedure has been developed for the separation andpreconcentration of Sudan IV with spectrophotometric detection at 520 nm. The analytical parameters including pH, surfactant type, surfactant mass, alcohol type and volume, and matrix effects were optimized. Sudan IV was quantitatively recovered at pH 6.0 using Tergitol 15-S-7 and 1-pentanol. The limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ) and preconcentration factor (PF) were 30.6 ng mL−1, 102 ng mL−1 and 50, respectively. The presented cloud point extraction method was applied to determine Sudan IV in chili-containing foods and cosmetics.

Design of an Eight-Wheeled Mobile Delivery Robot and Its Climbing Simulations
Delivery robots are becoming widespread all around the world recently. They are commonly used in America, Europe, and Asia. The primary purpose of these robots is the delivery service of goods such as food, parcels, groceries, etc. On the other hand, the developments bring the problems together. One of them is climbing the curbs and stairs. Six-wheeled delivery robots and most four-wheeled delivery robots have often faced problems climbing up and down these obstacles. According to some cases reflected in the press, those wheel numbers and mechanisms are not enough to easily pass over the curbs and stairs. Especially most six-wheeled robots have one bogie mechanism. The study aims to design an eight-wheeled mobile delivery robot that paves the way for curb & stair climbing. It has a double bogie mechanism; one is in front, and the other is in the back. Undoubtedly, the robot has a cargo compartment. The proposed delivery robot structure was designed in the Catia v5 3D CAD software and simulated in Gazebo 9 simulation software.

Performance of the CMS Jets and Missing Transverse Energy Trigger at LHC Run 2
In preparation for collecting proton-proton collisions from the LHC at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV and rate of 40MHz with increasing instantaneous luminosity, the CMS collaboration prepared an array of triggers utilizing jets and missing transverse energy for searches for new physics at the energy frontier as well as for SM precision measurements. The CMS trigger system must be able to sift through the collision events in order to extract events of interest at a rate of 1kHz, applying sophisticated algorithms adapted for fast and effective operation. Particularly important is the calibration of the trigger objects, as corrections to the measured energy may be substantial. Equally important is the development of improved reconstruction algorithms to mitigate negative effects due to high numbers of overlapping proton-proton collisions and increased levels of beam-related effects. Work by the CMS collaboration on upgrading the high-level trigger for jets and missing transverse energy for the upgraded LHC operation will be presented, along with the improved performance of these triggers.
