Prediction of Sjögren’s disease diagnosis using matched electronic dental-health record data
Abstract Background Sjögren’s disease (SD) is an autoimmune disease that is difficult to diagnose early due to its wide spectrum of clinical symptoms and overlap with other autoimmune diseases. SD potentially presents through early oral manifestations prior to showing symptoms of clinically significant dry eyes or dry mouth. We examined the feasibility of utilizing a linked electronic dental record (EDR) and electronic health record (EHR) dataset to identify factors that could be used to improve early diagnosis prediction of SD in a matched case-control study population. Methods EHR data, including demographics, medical diagnoses, medication history, serological test history, and clinical notes, were retrieved from the Indiana Network for Patient Care database and dental procedure data were retrieved from the Indiana University School of Dentistry EDR. We examined EHR and EDR history in the three years prior to SD diagnosis for SD cases and the corresponding period in matched non-SD controls. Two conditional logistic regression (CLR) models were built using Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator regression. One used only EHR data and the other used both EHR and EDR data. The ability of these models to predict SD diagnosis was assessed using a concordance index designed for CLR. Results We identified a sample population of 129 cases and 371 controls with linked EDR-EHR data. EHR factors associated with an increased risk of SD diagnosis were the usage of lubricating throat drugs with an odds ratio (OR) of 14.97 (2.70-83.06), dry mouth (OR = 6.19, 2.14–17.89), pain in joints (OR = 2.54, 1.34–4.76), tear film insufficiency (OR = 27.04, 5.37–136.), and rheumatoid factor testing (OR = 6.97, 1.94–25.12). The addition of EDR data slightly improved model concordance compared to the EHR only model (0.834 versus 0.811). Surgical dental procedures (OR = 2.33, 1.14–4.78) were found to be associated with an increased risk of SD diagnosis while dental diagnostic procedures (OR = 0.45, 0.20–1.01) were associated with decreased risk. Conclusion Utilizing EDR data alongside EHR data has the potential to improve prediction models for SD. This could improve the early diagnosis of SD, which is beneficial to slowing or preventing complications of SD.

Gamma-ray spectrometer onboard Chang'E-2
Chang'E-2 gamma-ray spectrometer (GRS) is included in the payload of Chinese second lunar mission Chang'E-2 that has been launched in October 2010. Specific objectives of the GRS are to map abundance of O, Si, Fe, Ti, U, Th, K, and, perhaps, Mg, Al, and Ca, to depth of about 20 cm. The energy resolution and detection efficiency were improved compared with Chang'E-1 GRS. We will describe the design of GRS, which used LaBr3 for its main detector, and present its performance in this paper. Moreover, the initial result of Chang'E-2 GRS is reported.

We will describe the design of GRS and present its performance in this paper. Moreover, the GRS calibration will also be introduced.

Gamma-Ray Detector on Board Lunar Mission Chang'e-1
Chang'e-1 is the first Chinese lunar mission which was launched in 24th October 2007. Gamma-ray spectrometer (GRS) is included in the payload of Chang'e-1. Specific objectives of the GRS are to map abundances of O, Si, Fe, Ti, U, Th, K, and perhaps, Mg, Al, and Ca, to depths of about 20 cm. There are remarkable advantages for GRS application to remote sensing elemental materials over the entire lunar surface: large effective area, high energy resolution and good ability for background rejection. The design of GRS is described and its performance in the laboratory is presented. The GRS performance both in calibration and in lunar orbit are introduced in this paper.

Test beam characterization of sensor prototypes for the CMS Barrel MIP Timing Detector
The MIP Timing Detector will provide additional timing capabilities for detection of minimum ionizing particles (MIPs) at CMS during the High Luminosity LHC era, improving event reconstruction and pileup rejection. The central portion of the detector, the Barrel Timing Layer (BTL), will be instrumented with LYSO:Ce crystals and Silicon Photomultipliers (SiPMs) providing a time resolution of about 30 ps at the beginning of operation, and degrading to 50-60 ps at the end of the detector lifetime as a result of radiation damage. In this work, we present the results obtained using a 120 GeV proton beam at the Fermilab Test Beam Facility to measure the time resolution of unirradiated sensors. A proof-of-concept of the sensor layout proposed for the barrel region of the MTD, consisting of elongated crystal bars with dimensions of about 3 x 3 x 57 mm$^3$ and with double-ended SiPM readout, is demonstrated. This design provides a robust time measurement independent of the impact point of the MIP along the crystal bar. We tested LYSO:Ce bars of different thickness (2, 3, 4 mm) with a geometry close to the reference design and coupled to SiPMs manufactured by Hamamatsu and Fondazione Bruno Kessler. The various aspects influencing the timing performance such as the crystal thickness, properties of the SiPMs (e.g. photon detection efficiency), and impact angle of the MIP are studied. A time resolution of about 28 ps is measured for MIPs crossing a 3 mm thick crystal bar, corresponding to an MPV energy deposition of 2.6 MeV, and of 22 ps for the 4.2 MeV MPV energy deposition expected in the BTL, matching the detector performance target for unirradiated devices.

LYSO-based precision timing detectors with SiPM readout
Abstract Particle detectors based on scintillation light are particularly well suited for precision timing applications with resolutions of a few 10’s of ps. The large primary signal and the initial rise time of the scintillation light result in very favorable signal-to-noise conditions with fast signals. In this paper we describe timing studies using a LYSO-based sampling calorimeter with wavelength-shifting capillary light extraction and silicon photomultipliers as photosensors. We study the contributions of various steps of the signal generation to the total time resolution, and demonstrate its feasibility as a radiation-hard technology for calorimeters at high intensity hadron colliders.

A SDN-Based Dynamic Routing for Multi-UAV Network Based on Bidirectional A-Star Algorithm
The network of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is the key to realize the coordination of multi-UAV system, and the routing strategy greatly affects the performance of the inter-UAV network. The routing of multi-UAV system has the characteristics of diverse routing performance requirements, strong time-varying environment, and strong node mobility. Therefore, in the face of the above characteristics, we propose an algorithm of dynamic routing for the multi-UAV network based on software defined network(SDN) arichtecure. We have made the following contributions. Firstly, according to the diversity of performance requirements of multi-UAV system, the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) and the minimum hop count are selected as the evaluation indicators of link cost to ensure the reliability of routing links. Secondly, the link cost is expressed as an interval value to describe the variation of the link cost due to the time-vary environment, and an acceptability index is introduced to describe the quality of the link. Finally, an improved bidirectional A-star algorthim is proposed to speed up the algorithm operation and reduce the time to find the optimal routing. The effectiveness of the proposed bidirectional A-star algorithm is validated through numerical experiments.

Application of Parallel Triplets Based on Intelligent Collaborative Robots in Industry 5.0
Aiming at the application requirements of agile production in Industry 5.0, this paper designs and implements a prototype of cyber-physical-social system using intelligent collaborative robots in the laboratory. The lightweight design of the digital twin accelerates the implementation of the prototype of the parallel system, and proposes a parallel triplet concept that adds a microphysical space to the digital and physical spaces of the digital twin. The system prototype serves as a practical exploration to take advantage of Industry 5.0, which can improve the efficiency of agile production and reduce the rate of defective products. This paper provides empirical research on the practical application of agile production in Industry 5.0 and promotes the development of parallel triplet technology.

Precision timing properties of high energy physics detectors in high luminosity colliders has become an important requirement for the success of particle detection, of which new calorimeter with timing precision of few tens of ps is the main interest. In this paper, we presented the first calorimetry and timing performance measurement of Cadmium-Telluride (CdTe) as the active material of sampling calorimeter, using 2 GeV to 200 GeV electron beam from CERN beamlines. A good energy performance is achieved due to the better sensitivity of CdTe to X ray photons in the secondary shower than other semi-conducting sensors such as silicon. The timing resolution of the tested CdTe sensor is measured to be down to 21 ps under the best conditions.

Precision Timing Detectors with Cadmium Telluride Sensors
Precision timing detectors for high energy physics experiments with temporal resolutions of a few 10 ps are of pivotal importance to master the challenges posed by the highest energy particle accelerators. Calorimetric timing measurements have been a focus of recent research, enabled by exploiting the temporal coherence of electromagnetic showers. Scintillating crystals with high light yield as well as silicon sensors are viable sensitive materials for sampling calorimeters. Silicon sensors have very high efficiency for charged particles. However, their sensitivity to photons, which comprise a large fraction of the electromagnetic shower, is limited. A large fraction of the energy in an electromagnetic shower is carried by photons. To enhance the efficiency of detecting photons, materials with higher atomic numbers than silicon are preferable. In this paper we present test beam measurements with a Cadmium-Telluride sensor as the active element of a secondary emission calorimeter with focus on the timing performance of the detector. A Schottky type Cadmium-Telluride sensor with an active area of 1 cm2 and a thickness of 1 mm is used in an arrangement with tungsten and lead absorbers. Measurements are performed with electron beams in the energy range from 2 GeV to 200 GeV. A timing resolution of 20 ps is achieved under the best conditions.

Research on Dispute Settlement Procedure in Medical Damage Litigation Cases
의료손해 사건의 심리는 매우 복잡하고 장기화된다는 특징을 가지고 있다. 이는 의료기관과 환자 간 갈등의 골이 더욱 깊어지게 되는 원인이다. 중국의 의료손해소송 사건의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 민사쟁점정리절차의 이론과 민사증거규칙에 있어 전문가의 증언 및 감정인 제도를 함께 활용할 필요가 있다. 즉, 의학전문가가 자문인(증언)으로 소송 초기에 참여하는 방안을 고려할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 경우 의료손해 사건의 신속한 해결을 위한 내실 있는 자료의 기초를 마련하게 된다. 또 의료분쟁해결을 위한 중요 자료를 통해 해결방안을 제공함으로써 사건의 쟁점을 형성할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 현재 중국의 의료손해소송이 증가함으로써 효율적 민사소송을 위한 다양한 연구가 진행중에 있다. 이에 의료손해소송 사건의 쟁점정리절차에 대한 연구는 의료손해소송 사건에 있어 의환갈등을 완화하고, 당사자들이 신뢰할 수 있는 사실관계를 통해 심리함으로써 공정성과 효율성을 제고할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 중국의 의료분쟁사건에 있어 의료기관과 환자 간의 정보비대칭으로 인한 입증책임의 곤란을 극복하기 위한 방안으로 의료손해소송 상 증거확보를 위한 쟁점정리절차에 관하여 고찰한다.The complexity and long-term of medical damage cases have led to sharpening of the contradiction between doctors and patients. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of medical damage cases in China and the study of extraterritorial systems, this paper combines the theoretical development of civil disputes and the expert witness and appraisers system in China s civil evidence law, and proposes that medical experts participate in the clarification of the case and the early evidence collection and discovery as soon as possible as an expert consultant, and quickly identify the facts and circumstance of the medical damage case. In this way, it can provide a solid material basis and a solution direction for the rapid resolution of medical damage cases, so as to promote the formation, clarity and fixation of the focus of the case, thereby protecting the procedural interests and substantive interests of both parties. Based on this, a dispute procedure for medical damage cases suitable for China was established to alleviate the contradiction between doctors and patients, to find out the facts worthy of the parties trust, and to make the case trial fair and efficient. 医疗损害案件审理的复杂性和长期化,导致医患矛盾逐渐尖锐。本文在分析中国医疗损害案件特征和学习域外制度的基础上,结合民事争点整理程序的理论发展和中国民事证据规则中的专家证人及鉴定人制度,提出由医学专家以专家咨询者的身份尽早参与到案件的解明和早期的证据收集开示中,迅速查明医疗损害案件的事实和经过。如此一来,可以为医疗损害案件的快速解决,提供充实的材料基础和解决方向,以促成案件争议焦点的形成、明确和固定,从而保护双方当事人的程序利益和实体利益。 基于此,建立起适合中国的医疗损害案件争点整理程序,以缓解医患矛盾,探求值得当事人信赖的事实,让案件审理更为公平、高效。

On the Statement of the Parties in Chinese Civil Litigation
당사자는 민사소송중에서 소송의 주체와 증거 방법의 두가지 역할을 하고 있다. 그에 상응한 당사자 진술은 소송 주체의 당사자 진술과 증거 의의의 당사자 진술로 구분된다. 중국은 오랜 시간 동안 이 두가지 의미의 당사자 진술을 구분 하지 않았기 때문에 당사자 진술의 증거적 가치가 충분히 발휘 되지 못했다. 중국의 민사소송법 중에서 당사자 진술은 하나의 독립된 증거 형태 이다. 그러나 입법상 관련 규정의 자체 모순으로 인하여 휴면 상태에 처해 있다. 그러므로 입법상 관련규정에 대해 개정하고 보완함으로써 당사자 진술 제도가 그 증거 기능이 충분히 활성화 되고 당사자 진술이 민사소송 증거 체계 중에서 비주류화한 현 상황을 변화 시키며 사법 실천의 응용이 규범적 지도하에서 정당한 길로 나아 갈수 있게 한다.
