Distortion invariant correlation filters application for quality inspection of master-matrix for security holograms
Security holograms (SH) are perspective for document and product authenticity protection due to difficulties of such a protection mark falsification. Mass production of SH uses widespread technology of hot foil or lavsan paper stamping. The quality of holograms significantly depends on perfection of nickel master-matrix that is used in stamping equipment. We represent the method of automatic quality inspection of nickel master-matrix based on digital processing of its surface relief microphotographs. Proposed processing algorithm is based on combination of image spatial frequency analysis and image matching using distortion invariant correlation filters. The results of our method application for real SH master-matrices inspection are shown in this paper.

Operational experience with the Silicon Strip Tracker at the CMS experiment
The CMS Silicon Strip Tracker with its more than 15000 silicon modules and 200 m 2 of active silicon area is in its tenth year of operation at the LHC.We present the performance of the detector in the LHC Run 2 data taking. Results for signal-to-noise, hit efficiency and single hit resolution will be presented. We review the behavior of the system when running at beyond-design instantaneous luminosity and describe challenges observed under these conditions. The evolution of detector parameters under the influence of radiation damage will be presented and compared to simulations.

Status and Future of the CMS Tracker DCS
Detector Control Systems (DCS) for modern High-Energy Physics (HEP) experiments are based on complex distributed (and often redundant) hardware and software implementing real-time operational procedures meant to ensure that the detector is always in a safe state, thus maximizing the lifetime of the detector. Display, archival and often analysis of the environmental data are also part of the tasks assigned to DCS systems. The CMS Tracker Control System (TCS) is a resilient system that has been designed to safely operate the silicon tracking detector in the CMS experiment. It has been built on top of an industrial Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software product WinCC OA extended with a framework developed at CERN, JCOP, along with CMS and Tracker specific components. The TCS is at present undergoing major architecture redesign which is critical to ensure efficient control of the detector and its future upgrades for the next fifteen years period. In this paper, we will present an overview of the Tracker DCS and the architecture of the software components as well as the associated deliverables.

Search for anomalous couplings in WW and WZ decays in the semileptonic channel with the CMS detector
