Studies of aging and HV break down problems during development and operation of MSGC and GEM detectors for the inner tracking system of HERA-B
The results of five years of development of the inner tracking system of the HERA-B experiment and first experience from the data taking period of the year 2000 are reported. The system contains 184 chambers, covering a sensitive area of about (20 × 20) cm 2 each. The detector is based on microstrip gas counters (MSGCs) with diamond like coated (DLC) glass wafers and gas electron multipliers (GEMs).

Application of small spacecraft for automatic identification of vessels
The work is devoted to the development of a specialized complex based on a CubeSat 3U nanosatellite for receiving and processing signals from the AIS system. With the help of such system, it is planned to form a domestic AIS space constellation. The urgency is connected with the current absence of the Russian Federation’s own satellite means of obtaining AIS data for monitoring the movement of ships in the world’s oceans and in its own water area. Access to this data is becoming critical in connection with the development of the Northern Sea Route and the development of shipping in the Azov, Black Seas and the Far East.

DILATON DECAYS INTO UNPARTICLES AND A SINGLE PHOTON
We study the production of the vector U-unparticle stuff and a single photon in decays of a dilaton. The signals of an unparticle can be detected through the missing energy and momentum distribution carried away by U once it was produced in radiative decay of a dilaton. The continuous energy spectrum of the emitted photons encoding the recoil unparticle can be measured in precision studies of rare decays of the dilaton or Higgs-boson after their discoveries.

JINR TIER-1-level computing system for the CMS experiment at LHC: status and perspectives
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) is a high-performance general-purpose detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN.A distributed data analysis system for processing and further analysis of CMS experimental data has been developed and this model foresees the obligatory usage of modern grid-technologies.The CMS Computing Model makes use of the hierarchy of computing centers (Tiers). The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) takes an active part in the CMS experiment. In order to provide a proper computing infrastructure for the CMS experiment at JINR and for Russian institutes collaborating in CMS, Tier-1 center for the CMS experiment is constructing at JINR.The main tasks and services of the CMS Tier-1 at JINR are described. The status and perspectives of the Tier1 center for the CMS experiment at JINR are presented.

Job execution in virtualized runtime environments in grid
Grid systems are used for calculations and data processing in various applied areas such as biomedicine, nanotechnology and materials science, cosmophysics and high energy physics as well as in a number of industrial and commercial areas. Traditional method of execution of jobs in grid is running jobs directly on the cluster nodes. This puts restrictions on the choice of the operational environment to the operating system of the node and also does not allow to enforce resource sharing policies or jobs isolation nor guarantee minimal level of available system resources. We propose a new approach to running jobs on the cluster nodes when each grid job runs in its own virtual environment. This allows to use different operating systems for different jobs on the same nodes in cluster, provides better isolation between running jobs and allows to enforce resource sharing policies. The implementation of the proposed approach was made in the framework of gLite middleware of the EGEE/WLCG project and was successfully tested in SINP MSU. The implementation is transparent for the grid user and allows to submit binaries compiled for various operating systems using exactly the same gLite interface. Virtual machine images with the standard gLite worker node software and sample MS Windows execution environment were created.

VARIOUS RUNTIME ENVIRONMENTS IN GRID BY MEANS OF VIRTUALIZATION OF WORKING NODES
In the framework of this work an approach for batch processing of computer jobs prepared for various runtime environments in grid is proposed. This method is based on the virtualization (using virtual machines) of working nodes of grid resource centers and enables executing applied jobs irrespective of runtime environment it has been initially developed for. In particular, jobs developed for execution in the environment of the widespread OS MS Windows, can be processed in resource centres of the grid system whose working nodes operate under OS Linux.

Methodology of Constructing Competitive Heat Maps of the City Using the Example of Confectionery Brands
The article deals with the problems of building heat maps and the practice of their use in economic and marketing research. The author’s method of constructing and visualizing heat maps both in the traditional graphic format and using interactive maps is proposed. The versatility of the proposed method lies in the formation of a specialized file in the kml format, which can be used in any geo-information system (Yandex, Google, Bing, etc.).

Regional Event-Marketing: Multi-Criteria Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Events in Tambov
The article considers the problems of assessing the effectiveness of event marketing on the example of regional events held in the city of Tambov. The results of a survey of residents who participated in such events are presented. Criteria are presented that increase the satisfaction of citizens and, as a consequence, affect the recognition of both the event itself at the regional level and the commercial brands involved in organizing and conducting the event. Tracking of brands’ health has been created. Recommendations for improving the communication efficiency of event marketing are given.
