The convolutional perfectly matched layer with alternating direction implicit scheme is improved to decrease the reflection error level with bigger Courant number (CFLN). We demonstrate the advancement in detail by dispersing finite difference time domain equations. Although the method needs a bit more computational memory, results show that the reflections with different CFLNs are perfectly limited in a similar range in the modified the scheme.
